It's Almost That Time Again!

Fri Oct 23, 2009, 6:29 PM
  • Mood: Excited
  • Watching: Numb3rs
  • Drinking: Vernors (The Original Ginger Soda!)
So, yeah. It's nearly November, and that means Nanowrimo time again! Who else is ready to polish off those old ideas, and shine them into something new? Or to start from scratch and race your ass off to 50,000 words?

I have a confession to make: I've never made it to the fifty-thousand words goal, but that isn't the point for me. The point, the whole shebang, is to try. So, anybody out there in this land of deviants, I urge you to do the same. Sign up for National Novel Writing Month, and give it a shot! Click the [link] to get to the Nanowrimo main page, and get started!

Oh, and to any and all who donate to fancy causes, would you consider donating to Nanowrimo? I'm going to try to donate this year as well, because this is a great idea. It inspires people to write, to create, to just try. The website even states that just ten dollars ($10!) can power their servers for three hours. That's not a whole lot, but for those of us who can't wait for November just for Nanowrimo to start, it's three more hours of website joy. Here's a link to the donation page if you're interested: [link]

(On a side note, 8 days and I'll be a married woman. I wonder how that will affect my writing, lmao!)

So come on, tell me: How many of you out there are participating in Nanowrimo with me?
